Key Stage 2 Spelling Bee – Term 1 2019

Key Stage 2 ended their very busy first term of 2019 with the annual Spelling Bee. Each class had their elimination rounds on Monday to choose the two strongest spellers in the class.

The Junior hall was buzzing with excitement as the spellers took to the stage. Miss Fourie and Ms Esterhuizen asked the contestants the words. Each round the words increased in difficulty until only three contestants remained.

In a ‘sudden death’ round, Tariq Pietersen was crowned the Spelling Bee Champion of 2019 with Siyana Manawar in 2nd place and Aimee Davies securing the 3rd place. Congratulations to our spelling champions!

We are very proud of all our contestants, they all did their best.
